Julia Lando is a darkwave, synthwave, and goth rock performer from Toronto, Canada — presenting a genderfluid stage identity that is as deliberate and precisely constructed as the music itself.

Her sound merges dense synthesizer architecture, atmospheric textures, and live keytar and synth performance with a custom MIDI-triggered lighting and visual rig designed and built by the artist.

Drawing from the lineage of Boy Harsher, Clan of Xymox, Actors, TR/ST, and Cold Cave — minor-key melodic writing over layered electronic production spanning dark synthpop, post-punk, and cold wave — the music is built for a dark room and a proper sound system.
